What are the differences between managed and unmanaged switches?

From architectures with extra processing power per port and huge bandwidth between blade servers, which are highly integrated, to relatively simple architectures where each server is equipped with dedicated processors, memory, and I/O capabilities for communication between ports, intelligent switches have many different architectures
