The working principle of a non-standard POE power supply switch is classified as a switching power supply, without a POE chip, only through a transformer to step down 220V AC to 48V DC, without detecting the lower-end power-receiving equipment, directly output voltage and current at each RJ45 port without interruption, which may cause the voltage to be too high and burn out the lower-end power-receiving equipment. Such equipment cannot be directly connected to other network equipment, because the direct connection simply leads to 2 pairs of network cables in the POE power supply, and the positive and negative electrodes are connected to form a short circuit.
