What are orphan ports?

Orphan ports are single attached devices that are not connected via a vPC, but still carry vPC VLANs. In the instance of a peer-link shut or restoration, an orphan port’s connectivity may be bound to the vPC failure or restoration process. Issue the show vpc orphan-portscommand in order to identify the impacted VLANs.
