Detect the switch logically connected to its virtual port and forward the information correctly.
It is only valid locally and can only be recognized by one host.
If an uplink adapter (i.e. a physical Ethernet adapter) is connected to a standard switch, each virtual machine can access the external network to which the adapter is connected. Bridge to the switch port group for identification.
Port group: a collection of multiple ports
Standard switches cannot be switched across hosts and can only take effect locally. If you want to migrate to another host, you need to create a port group with the same label on each host.
Standard switch and distributed switch
Not suitable for virtual machine network communication. For security reasons, it is best to separate the management network from the virtual machine network.
